Da Man, Da Myth, Da Vinci
How Leonardo Was The Embodiment of The Renaissance
Home: Welcome

Abstract
Leonardo da Vinci is arguably the most important figure of the Renaissance. However, Leonardo da Vinci was not solely an artist; in fact, he described himself as less of an artist than a scientist. Leonardo da Vinci was metaphorically bestowed the title of the “Renaissance man” since his interests ranged far from aeronautics to anatomy. The Renaissance provided Italy with many fields of interest, and Leonardo tried to be skilled in all of them. He tried to harness the flow of water, master the ability of flight, and explore the inner-workings of the human anatomy.
